My Uber Experiences

Previously,I talk about grabcar experiences.Now I'm going to talk about uber experiences.

Going back to Kuala Lumpur,I uses Uber a lot instead of grabcar.The reason why I changed to Uber is because Uber have got a lot of promotions and promo code for me.Using the promo code,I can have discounts or even sometimes free ride depending on my distance.The month was November and in 2017.I used grabcar too but not so often compared to my previous visit to Kuala Lumpur.
Wherever and whichever is cheaper,I used.Easy say!
Some of the Uber drivers are very good and friendly,but a few not so.The good and friendly one will
ask you whether the aircon is cold enough for us and have a friendly chat with you all along and the unfriendly and lazy one will just keep driving and complain that you didn't show the exact direction that you going to,and there was a man who dropped me and my family a farther distant away from the shopping mall that we had to walk under the hot sun till we reach the front shopping mall.This guy I gave him only one star.Most drivers I gave four to five stars.
Malaysia is a very hot country,but most uber and grabcars aircon are not on strong enough.They only turned on to 2 the maximum.
I noticed that there are many women drivers.Sometimes in one day I can have three women drivers.
Considering how arkward I was sitting with strangers,women drivers just suit me.
One night,there was a lady driver who call first to ask where I was going.Why does she ask when it's already written  the destination on the uber app?Anyway,this driver call to confirm where I was heading to.She thought I wanted to go to the airport.I told her it wasn't airport and she ask me to cancel my booking which I didn't.I wouldn't want uber to charge me which is not my fault.In the end she cancel it herself.A few minutes later,I got a message from uber charging me RM5.I then submit ticket to complain to uber.Then uber drop the charges which is fair.

Uber on the other hands,compare to grabcar don't charge toll fees.It's all included.so,it's fix price.Grabcar charges you toll fees which is not included yet.We already know how much uber charges us while we were sitted inside the car,but we don't know how much grabcar is going to charge us until we arrived at our destinations.Once the car stop,you ask them how much and you waited till they count and tell you how much.So,will you use uber or grabcar?It all depends on you.

My Nikon D5300 Camera Was Stolen

Today,I got very very sad, angry,disappointed and heartbroken.My Nikon DSLR5300 was taken and stolen away from inside my car.I guess it was my stupid mistake for not locking the car and not taking the camera with me.The same goes to my daughter who is with me to the nearest supermarket to buy something.It was my fault and therefore I got very very annoyed and very very frustrated.

A year ago,I had bought this camera for the family to use and partly for my two sons to use in the school when they needed to shoot videos for their projects.Cameras are very costly but I have to buy,else they don't have camera to use.

Now,my Nikon D5300 camera is gone.How sad and furious I am.It will probadly took years for me to buy another good camera.Don't dare to buy another one.

Please do not be like me to leave your precious belongings behind in the car.There are some nasty thieves around.You can never take it back or can you?

My Grabcar Experiences

Hai guys!,I just want to take a moment to share my grabcar's experiences.No offence to the drivers.
Just a moment of sharing.

Last week,on my trip to Kuala Lumpur,I used grabcar a lot compared to last year which is only two rides.This time,it was seven rides.I spent a total of about RM205.

Well,now and again people used grabcar for a ride.It is much much more convenient than hailing a taxi.You know it.I'm a one person who is afraid to let strangers drives me but for the sake of no transport,I had no choice.First thing when I reach KL is to install the app.I had a son and a daughter with me.


My trips were as follows:

First called grabcar at Terminal Bus Station(TBS) to Floral Green Condominiun as well as UTAR school area.The cost was RM21.29.We had no problem with this driver.His car is clean and cool.
He brought us safely to our destination.

Second Grab:

In the evening,we called grabcar again.After two drivers rejected us,we found a third driver.Ten minutes later then he arrived.We were on our way down to Bukit Bintang but few minutes later,he pulled his car to Petronas station and told us to wait.He then rushed to the toilet while his car is parked at the petrol kiosk.He had his car aircon turned off leaving us feeling hot inside the car.I noticed he did not take his handphone and car key away.
Then he came back and filled the petrol and 30 minutes later reached the hotel.It was raining heavily and lightning keeps flashing loudly.
The ride cost us RM21.

Third Grab:

The next morning,we had a grabcar called by the hotel receptionist.The driver came 8 minutes later.
This time the car is a bit lavish then the other first and second car.The driver with a long hair drove us
to another hotel in SunwayPyramid.The drive from Bukit Bintang to Sunway is quite far.I wonder whether the driver used a long road or what?We passed through a long underground tunnel.Luckily,his car is not so hot although at first we had to ask him to turn his aircon towards us.
As soon as the car turned towards Sunway Pyramid,my son asked the driver whether he can stop in front of the hotel,but the driver ask if we mind step down from where his car stopped because he has got another passenger waiting..He pointed to the right side of a building which made me think he's not going to make a big turn round to that building.My son told him that it's okay since we can walk a few steps down to our hotel.Lazy driver!He's the only driver who didn't dropped us down right in front of the hotel and it was a sunny day.Well,lucky it's not that far away but we carry a lot of things that we had bought and our heavy luggages.

The fare cost us RM26.

Forth Grab:

After we had seen enough of Sunway and shopping and ate our breakfast,it's time to leave the hotel
and go to our next destinations.This time we are going back to Utar,Sungai long University.

At past noon,we called grabcar again.At about 10-12 minutes then the car arrived.We waited at the front of the hotel feeling hot cos it's was a sunny day.Perhaps the grabcar driver doesn't  know the way.He didn't even bother to call.Some grabcar drivers doesn't even know how to call the passengers,but there are some that call you the moment you booked him or click on the app.He'll
ask you the exact position you are standing.There are even some who ask many times!

When he nearly reached the hotel then he called,but we've already seen him and moved forward to his car.As soon as we're seated inside the car,we can feel the humidity of his car.My son and I had to ask him to adjust the aircon to our sides.He had his aircon switch to 2 only.All the way,we were
feeling very hot inside the car,especially me!I was not feeling well that day and I need a cooler air,but the car aircon was not strong enough.Why can't he make the aircon stronger?Going to Utar school
Sungai Long,Kajang seem very far away which made me all the worse  with this heaty car.I had to wet my handkerchief with my bottle drink to freshen my face and hands so that I felt much more cooler.
The driver was a bit sarcastic when he talked to the security guard.All the way,he was very quiet,but the moment he spoke he sounded very rude.
The guard looked at him for a moment and doesn't seem very pleased, but the driver doesn't seem to realize that and drove straight in.We paid the driver,don't want any more trouble with the guard.
The fare costs us RM39.The most expensive ride.

Fifth Grab:

While we were there,we went shopping at Aeon,Cheras by bus and decided to go back to Utar Sungai Long again by grabcar..Earlier on,we had passed by that building and I was curious to go shopping and had made up my mind to have lunch there.

From Aeon building,we call the grabcar.Again,this car was hot and heaty with the aircon turned on to 2.I told the driver to adjust the aircon.He only adjust the wind to me,refusing to turn on cooler.He explained that the weather was so hot and so the car would feel very hot.I have to endure again and this time,it was a very short trip.

The fare cost RM6 with no tolls.

Six Grab:

In the evening,at around 6.18 we decided to go downtown to stay in a hotel at Jalan Bukit Bintang.We called the sixth grabcar.The driver rang twice to say he don't know our whereabout.
After explained,explained,then he finally knew.

When the car pulled towards us and stopped,my son and a friend called him to open the booth,but
there was no booth to put our things and luggages.It was a small car,a proton viva.With nowhere to put our things,we put on the back seat.There were three of us at the back and two in front.
We had to squeeze our belongings next to us.It was raining and who bothers if this time the car aircon is cold or not cold.

It was very late when we  finally reached the hotel.It was a late check-in.

The rest of our time were spend walking only around Bukit Bintang,Pavillion,so on and so forth.
We even used the GoKL free bus.No going back to the hotel using grabcar for that night,.

Seventh Grab:

The following day and our last day,we had to call grabcar again to drives us to the airport.
It was already passed noon when we all sit inside the car.By luck,this car was big enough for us
and our baggages and things.The best of all,is the aircon can be adjusted by ourselves from
behind,so no fear of getting hot on a hot sunny day!

Before we leaved,and sitting comfortably inside the car,two  traffic policemen stopby and question the grab's driver(for what thing suspicious we don't know)They questions  the driver like grabcar?,where the passengers came from and seeing that we're all locals,
they left.
It was a long, long road to the airport.

This last trip cost us RM67.

All  fares include tolls.if you are lucky enough you got a free rides on promotion,but I wasn't able to
get it,I don't know why,not even discount promotions.I heard they got rebates and free rides during these Ramadan season.

On the apps,it says to recommend another person to get a free ride,but somehow the app is not working.My daughter and I tried so many times but we still can't get it.My son's friend and his mom
got a lot of free grab rides and rebates during their visits in KL.

My bread Maker

 My Bread Maker

This machine saved my time.I just put the ingredients in,and the machine do all the work.Perfect for morning breakfast,and I always do it in the night time.

I start off by making the most basic soft bread,of course!Smaller size first,then medium,then big.Then from plain to things added.So fun and still loving it!

With raisins added

Then from breads,to making cakes,

and you can even make all kinds of buns or dinner rolls.

I'm so glad I bought this bread machine.The brand is PENSONIC.

From now on,I'll just use this machine to make dough for me.

thieves break-in

26th August,2013,Monday- Thieves broke into my home and stole 2 laptops,1 netbook and an ipad..My wedding ring was also stolen along with my family passports and bankbooks.They even took away a windows 7 softwares.Anger suppressing me.My most valuable item was my wedding rings.How unlucky indeed!I kept getting unlucky these days.One of the laptop,belong to my nephew.His laptop was under repaired at my home at that time.Luckily,his was easily replaced by his own father,but not for us.There are many more things that they took and who knows there are some more which I haven't found out yet.Thieves are getting smarter these days.They even robbed in the day time.Mine happened in the night.We don't have any security alarms or CCTV.I just wish I had a dog,a very fierce one.The television was on at that time,when we went out but the thieves still knew that nobody was at home.So,how did the thieves know that there's nobody at home?They must have spy on us.Luckily,no one was at home at that time or else they might have harm us.We all went out for a birthday party with my niece.
Now,everyday,I'm in fear.I couldn't sleep peacefully!Therefore,I felt very sleepy everyday..
I just can't own anything.Not even up to two months!I doze off too while trying to edit my blog!

I was a victim of pick-pockets

Samsung Galaxy SIII

You see?Beautiful right?Nice to hold and nice to play.Once lost,lost forever.

One month has passed and I still cannot forget about my lovely Samsung Galaxy SIII.I bought it with my hard earned money. After a long thinking,that I finally made the decision to finally go and buy it after I saw a bit of a special offer by using BonusLink Card.Member with this card can only purchase it cheaper.Much to the delight.that without thinking hard anymore,I finally bought it ,and it was Chinese New Year too.My old phone was not so good.I needed a new one.And they gave me 16 GB memory card for free!.I had wanted it for so long.Samsung Note II or Samsung Galaxy S3?I chose S3 cos it can feed into the pocket of my jeans whereas Note II is bigger,so as what I think.After buying it,I try to slip it into my pocket but wait!It was quite big and long.Though it can feed into the pocket but it was long and I feel not comfortable.And I was always afraid that it might fall down.It did fell down once from my pocket.I decided to just put inside my handbag whenever I go out.

I was happy with my new handphone,but it didn't last for long.Some pick-pockets are out there to spy on me and took away my handphone.

It was on this unfateful day on the 9th of march when I went out to a shopping mall that a bitch has stolen my phone.Three bitches,as to say correctly.Women!They must have been professional.A woman grab my handbag from behind and took away my handphone without me realising it until it's too late.I felt as if my handbag was pulled hard to the back,like someone pulling it.I turned back,and then looked at my handbag and see that the zip was not opened,so I think that I had just imagined.I turned back twice and see nothing unusual happening so I just brushed aside and continued to pay at the counter.I see that my wallet was still inside my bag,but not thinking about my phone.I had put my phone in the front pocket of my handbag.My handbag has two pockets in front.It was very easily noticeable,I didn't think about it.

Now,on the CCTV,I saw that a woman pull my handphone from behind and took out my phone and then she walked to another woman and passed it to her and another woman from another side not far away came to join them,and the second woman passed to her my phone.

That's it!,my handphone was lost forever!I can't traced it because I don't have any tracking software installed nor do I know of one insist.It was my first time using a smart phone.I didn't have time to learn much yet.If I bought another new smartphone again,I will install the neccessary softwares ,for example Android Lost.(I just started to know and learned)My GPS was also not registered at that time.The police are of not much help too.How foolish of me.
For all of you out there,please be careful if you have a nice and expensive smartphone.Be careful of all your belongings,especially wallets and handphones.
